Research - 'quintessential British moments'

One of the key elements that was highlighted through breaking down the brief was the relevance to 'quintessential British moments'. This is something that needs to influence and work with the response produced for the brief.

1. A cup of tea - This traditional drink is something that Britain is well known for. As it is a drink itself it would not directly work with a piece of creative for Greenall's however there are other links that could be made such as bringing people together.

2. Afternoon tea - This is an event that is giving as an example in the brief package. 'For example the quintessential British afternoon tea, which is still in vogue years after its conception, could be a perfect pairing for a cocktail made with our Greenall’s Wild Berry.'

3. The Picnic - Something that leads on from a traditional cup of tea is the picnic. This is a classic event that is typically related to relationships and families. As highlighted by the Greenall's, their cocktail range would fit well with this this event as the drink is premixed and easily transportable.

4. The Races - Through following and researching Greenall's Gin on social media, it was discovered that they are supporters of the Cheltenham Races. For the event they continuously posted about being at the races to draw attraction and promote their #GreenallsGoodTimes. This has shown a fun and current side to the brand which will be important to consider when answering this brief.

5. Country Shows - From searching 'Quintessential British events', something that had a lot of internet coverage is the across country show events. This is an event area that I am familiar with due to attending various shows. Many events involve a collection of tents that each have a different area of focus. One area that Greenall's would fit with is the food/drink tent.
